Puzzles

Children on the autism spectrum often have an uncanny knack for puzzles! Because puzzles are preferred activities for many of our kids, they make excellent tools for teaching children with autism. ABA programs generally include puzzles as a means of teaching problem solving skills. Peg and knob puzzles also work on fine motor skills and can be used to teach vocabulary to children who benefit from highly visual and manipulative teaching strategies.
